A Carbon Monoxide detector is a device that detects the presence of the toxic, colorless, and odorless gas carbon monoxide (CO). This gas is produced by combustion and is lethal at high levels. If the device detects a high level of this gas, it alarms and warns you of the danger. These detectors are available at most home improvement stores.
