How do I request a copy of a public record?

The City of DeLand permits the inspection and examination of public records by any person desiring to do so, at any reasonable time, under reasonable conditions, and under supervision of the Custodian of the public record or the Custodian’s designee. Contact the City Clerk’s Office to request access to, or copies of, public records. The actual cost of duplication ($.15 for single-side copies and $.20 for double-sided copies [other duplication costs may apply]) will be charged, and, depending on the length and complexity of the public records request, a special service charge or fee may apply if the nature or volume of the public records to be inspected is such as to require extensive use of information technology resources or extensive clerical or supervisory assistance.
